On the lake
The lake sets the timetable. We plan around it.
On Lake Como the light moves from shore to shore. Tremezzo and Lenno on the western side get the soft morning sun; Varenna, across the water, keeps the evening glow. We time your portraits to your shore, and to the boats and ferries that carry you between the ceremony and the dinner.
The rest of the day we simply watch: the vows, the speech that runs long, the laugh nobody saw coming. When it is time for portraits, we tell you where to stand and how to turn, so you never have to guess.
Every gallery is edited by Julia herself, so the story holds together from the first frame to the last.

Real weddings
From our weddings on Lake Como
Wedding collections 2026 / 2027
From a few hours to the whole day on the lake
You choose how much of the day we photograph, whether one of us or both of us are there, and what you take home. The collections are the same on Lake Como and in Milan; boats, ferries and villa rules only change how we plan the day.
Prices for every collection are in our 2026/27 guide, sent within a day of your message.

The day
A Lake Como wedding day, from villa to boat
Morning
Getting ready above the water.
A villa room or a hotel balcony, the dress by the window, the lake already in the frame.
Ceremony
We go quiet.
In a villa garden, a town hall or on a terrace for a symbolic ceremony. The vows, the first kiss, your mother watching. Nobody is asked to pause, repeat a moment or look at the camera.
By boat
The ride everyone remembers.
A wooden boat between the ceremony and the dinner: the two of you, the wake, the villas passing by. Family portraits happen before you board, quickly, from a list we build together.
Golden hour
We steal the two of you away.
On the western shore the sun slips behind the mountains early; on the eastern side it lingers. We know where the light will be and take you there, with no audience.
Evening
Dinner on the terrace.
The lake goes dark and the lights come on across the water. Speeches, first dance, champagne: the part of the night when everyone forgets there is a camera.

Who will photograph you
We are Anatoly & Julia
Anatoly and Julia, husband and wife from Odesa. Since 2019 we have photographed more than 3,000 couples across Europe, from city elopements to whole wedding days by the water.
On a Lake Como wedding day one of us, or both of us together, stays with you from getting ready to the last dance. We plan the day around the boats, the ferries and the light, and we take a limited number of weddings each year, so you get our full attention.
Kind words
What couples say after the gallery arrives

Wedding in MilanThe rain on our wedding day could have been a disaster, but you turned it into something magical. The photos are romantic, atmospheric, and simply stunning. Your flexibility and positive attitude made all the difference.
Wedding in MilanChoosing you as our wedding photographers was the best decision we made. The photos are incredible, each one capturing the essence of our love and the beauty of Milan. Thank you for giving us memories we’ll treasure forever.
Getting married on Lake Como
A civil wedding or a symbolic ceremony
The legal route
A civil wedding takes place at a town hall on the lake, such as Como, Bellagio or Tremezzina, or at a villa the town has approved. Foreign couples prepare a declaration of intent and translated, legalised documents; a local planner makes it simple.
A symbolic ceremony
Sign the papers at home and marry here without the formalities: vows on a villa terrace, in a garden above the water or on a wooden boat, at the hour with the best light.
Where we photograph
Our favourite places for wedding photography on Lake Como

Villa del Balbianello
The loggia and terraced gardens at the tip of the Lavedo peninsula. Its lakeside setting is just as beautiful from a boat.
Villa Carlotta
Terraced gardens, rhododendrons in spring and a staircase straight down to the lake in Tremezzo.
Bellagio
Stepped lanes, the lakefront and villa gardens at the point where the lake’s three branches meet.
Villa Olmo, Como
A neoclassical villa with a statue-lined lakefront terrace, under an hour from Milan.
Varenna
Colourful houses above the water and the lakeside walkway, a short ferry ride from Bellagio.
Milan
Getting married in the city? See our Milan weddings: the Duomo, the Galleria and Brera.
