What if I don’t know how to pose?

That is where almost everyone starts. Annika directs the whole session: where to stand, where to look, how to walk towards the camera and what to do with your hands. The first ten minutes are a warm-up, and by the second spot most people forget the camera is there.

  • Outfit tips before the shoot: solid colours and one change of look work best.
  • We choose the time for the light: early morning is the quietest at the Duomo and in the Galleria.
  • We walk between spots at an easy pace, with time to fix your hair and outfit.

Piazza del Duomo

The classic Milan photo. Early in the morning the square is quiet, so you have the cathedral almost to yourself.

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

The glass dome, the mosaic floor and the boutiques. Soft, even light at midday, and dry when it rains.

The fashion district

Elegant streets around Via Montenapoleone, about ten minutes on foot from the Duomo. Right for a polished, editorial look.

Brera

Cobbled streets, courtyards and small cafés for relaxed, everyday photos.

Your hotel

A slow morning in your room or on the terrace: breakfast, getting ready, the view. A good start before we head out.

Casa degli Omenoni

A quiet street near the Galleria with giant stone figures on the facade. It rarely has a crowd.

In one hour we usually cover the Duomo and the Galleria. With two or three hours we add Brera, the fashion district or your hotel, and time for a second outfit. Personal photoshoots start at €150 for 30 minutes: see every package and what is included.

Before your photoshoot

When to shoot and what to wear

The best time of day

  • Early morning is our favourite: Piazza del Duomo is quiet, the light is soft and the Galleria is almost empty.
  • Late afternoon brings warm light on the marble. More people are around, so we work with angles and side streets.
  • Midday sun is hard on the square, so we move into the Galleria and the arcades, where the light is even.
  • Rain is not a reason to cancel. The Galleria keeps you dry, and wet marble reflects beautifully.

What to wear for a solo photoshoot

  • Solid colours and clean lines stand out against Milan’s cream and grey stone: white, cream, black, deep red, caramel or soft blue.
  • Flowing dresses and skirts look great in movement.
  • Bring a second look if you book two hours or more.
  • Something in your hands helps: a coat, a bag, a coffee or sunglasses.
  • Walk in comfortable shoes and keep the pretty pair in your bag. We carry your bag between shots.

Before you book

From €150 for 30 minutes. One hour costs €300 with 50–60 edited photos, two hours €600 with 80–120, and three hours €900 with 120–150.

Tell us when you’re in Milan, and we’ll reply within a day with the free times. Weekends from April to October fill first, so it’s worth asking early.

Most of our clients say the same before the shoot. Annika tells you where to stand, where to look and what to do with your hands, and the first minutes are a warm-up. By the second spot it feels like a walk with a friend who happens to have a camera.

On the day

The classic route is the Duomo and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, which are next to each other. Longer sessions add Brera, Castello Sforzesco, the Navigli or your hotel. Tell us the look you want and we’ll suggest the route.

Early morning: the light is soft and the Duomo square and the Galleria are at their quietest. Late afternoon light is lovely too, with more people around.

Solid colours photograph better than small prints, and comfortable shoes help between spots. For two hours or more, bring a second outfit. We send you outfit tips after booking.

Yes. Your room is always fine; for the lobby, terrace or restaurant, check with the hotel first. Many clients start with breakfast or getting ready, then head out into the city.

We watch the forecast with you and plan a covered option. The Galleria and the arcades around the Duomo keep you dry, and rain on the marble often makes for beautiful photos.

After the shoot

Your full edited gallery arrives within one week. Need them sooner? The express option delivers in 24 to 48 hours for €100.

Yes. Personal and social media use is included, so you can post, print and share them as you like.

Yes. A gown from our dress rental costs €150, and a hair and makeup artist €250. Mention it in your message and we’ll arrange it.
