A boat proposal on Lake Como

Many of our Lake Como proposals happen on the water: a wooden boat past Villa del Balbianello, the question asked halfway, the villa behind you in every frame.

  • The boat is not included in our price. A private boat with a captain starts at about €300 for an hour, paid directly to the boat company.
  • We suggest the boat and plan the route with the captain, so the moment happens in front of the villa and in the right light.
  • We come aboard with you and stay out of sight until you kneel, then carry on with a couple session on the water.
  • Two hours on the boat? Choose the Extended package and we photograph the whole ride.

Our proposal photography on Lake Como costs €400 for one hour (Essential), €800 for two hours (Extended) and €1,200 for three hours (Premium). The boat, villa tickets and flowers are extra; a private boat with a captain starts at about €300 for an hour.

Yes. Villas, gardens and the water give you private corners even in high season, if you choose the right spot and time. That is exactly what we plan with you.

Visits are booked in advance and popular slots sell out weeks ahead. Many couples propose on a boat just below the villa instead: no ticket needed and the view of the loggia is even better.

For a first trip: a villa terrace in Tremezzo, a boat past Balbianello, or the bridge in Nesso. Tell us where you are staying and we’ll suggest the closest option.

On the day

We work at a distance with a long lens and blend in with the people around you. We agree a signal before you kneel.

We watch the forecast with you and plan a covered option, such as a loggia or a hotel terrace. If it pours, we look for another time within your dates.
