The experience
Photos of the two of you, not of the crowds
A couple photoshoot in Milan is an hour or two for just the two of you. We plan the route and the time so the squares are quiet, guide you through natural poses and movement, and catch the laughs in between the poses.

Choose your mood
Four ways to spend your couple photoshoot

Duomo and Galleria
The cathedral, the glass dome and the mosaic floors, best in the early morning when the square is quiet.

Streets and courtyards
Brera’s cobbled lanes, hidden courtyards and café corners, a few minutes from the crowds.

Black and white
Stone, shadows and a timeless edit. Works beautifully on a cloudy day.

Pre-wedding and engagements
Photos for your save-the-dates and wedding website, or a ring and a bottle of prosecco for the engagement. How to plan it.

Never posed before?
Not a model couple? Perfect.
Most couples we photograph have never done a photoshoot together. We give simple prompts instead of stiff poses: walk towards us, whisper something, turn back and laugh. Ten minutes in, you forget about the camera.
- Outfit tips before the day: two or three calm colours that go together.
- The best time for your date: early morning for empty squares, late afternoon for warm light.
- A route you can walk at an easy pace, with time to fix hair between spots.

Planning
Pre-wedding photoshoot in Milan
A wedding day goes by in a blur of guests and timings. A pre-wedding session is the calm version: an hour or two in Milan with no schedule but yours, and photos for your invitations, your wedding website and the welcome sign.
Most couples book two to six months before the wedding, so the photos are ready for save-the-dates and the website. We help with the route, the timing and what to wear.
- Plan two looks: one elegant, one relaxed. Two hours leave time to change.
- A light white dress works beautifully; save the wedding gown for the day.
- Early morning for an empty Duomo, late afternoon for warm light on the lake.
- Need a gown? Choose one from our dress rental.
Where we photograph
The best places for a couple photoshoot in Milan

Piazza del Duomo
The cathedral is the photo everyone wants. Early in the morning the square is still quiet, so the two of you are the only people in the frame.
Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II
The glass dome and the mosaic floor right next to the Duomo. The light inside stays soft at midday, and it keeps you dry if it rains.
Piazza dei Mercanti
A medieval square a few steps from the Duomo, with stone arcades and old columns that most visitors walk past.
Brera
Cobbled streets, courtyards and small cafés. Slower and more personal, and an easy second area in a two-hour session.
Castello Sforzesco
Red-brick towers and courtyards, with Parco Sempione behind them. A calm choice when the centre is busy.
Casa degli Omenoni
A quiet street near the Galleria where giant stone figures hold up the facade. Few people know it, so it rarely has a crowd.
In one hour we usually cover the Duomo and the Galleria. With two or three hours we add Brera, Castello Sforzesco or your hotel, and time for a second outfit. Couple photoshoots start at €150 for 30 minutes: see every package and what is included.
Before your photoshoot
When to shoot and what to wear
The best time of day
- Early morning is our favourite: Piazza del Duomo is quiet, the light is soft and the Galleria is almost empty.
- Late afternoon brings warm light on the marble. More people are around, so we work with angles and side streets.
- Midday sun is hard on the square, so we move into the Galleria and the arcades, where the light is even.
- Rain is not a reason to cancel. The Galleria keeps you dry, and wet marble reflects beautifully.
What to wear as a couple
- Coordinate, don’t match: two or three calm colours that go together.
- Milan’s stone is cream and grey, so solid colours stand out: white, cream, black, deep red, caramel or soft blue.
- Flowing dresses and skirts look great in movement.
- Walk in comfortable shoes and keep the pretty pair in your bag.
- Skip big logos, neon colours and busy small prints.
